Help! The Milksync trial deleted all the tasks I had entered.

I found a post in the forum on 9/24/08 about the same issue. In that case, the user submitted a support request and RTM was able to restore his tasks.

I followed the link in the post and also submitted a request for support, but haven't had a response yet. How long does it usually take to hear back from someone? Or do I not qualify for support since I'm not a pro user yet?

You'll be answered; the only difference with Pro users is that they get priority. Usually it'll take a few days.
