Invalid data with iCalendar download of list

One of my lists fails to download to iCal with a message like "The data downloaded from http://rememberthemilk.com/icalendar... are invalid."

My other lists do not have this problem. This seems to be a recent problem, because I could download all my lists in the past.

How can I find out what it is about this list that fails?
