I remember seeing a description on one of these list of a facility for omitting the final part of an e-mail (e.g. the signature) when submitting a task via e-mail. The trick was to use a line containing ---end--- or something like that. However, I cannot find this again and I guess it should be mentioned in the help section,

If you include the following on a line by itself in the email
-end-
then anything after this line will be ignored.
