Skype reminders delayed, and RTM is offline

I've tried to set RTM to send me task reminders via Skype. To date (10 days now) the Remember The Milk avatar on Skype has never been online. My reminders come through in batches several days late; for example, I just received a moment ago (13:53) my reminders for the past 5 days which should've been sent each day at 9:30am. I'm online Skype *all* the time, so it hasn't been on my side...
Is something wrong with the interface for Skype? There was an old topic about this, but no one's said anything for 6 months...

RTM will remain offline (try the same in MSN, you will see RTM never comes online)
Do you have MSN? Can you otherwise try MSN to see whether you do receive the reminders over there.
Can you also check and make sure you set your timezone to the correct value?
