Due Dates & Repeating Tasks

I am really enjoying RTM so far, and am hoping someone can help my with repeating tasks.

When a tasks repeats, I would also like it to be given a corresponding due date.

In other words, if I have a task which repeats each Friday, I would like it to also show up as due on Friday. If I have a task that repeats on the 1st and 16th of every month, I would like it to show as "due:today" when I am looking at my tasks on those days.

Can this be done?

Seems part of the problem is that you have to mark a new repeating as completed before it will get a due date? I am not sure I understand how this is supposed to work anymore...
