Neither notification working for me :(

I have my setting set to AIM me and email me but neither is working. I've added rtmremind to my buddy list, just like the other poster and I've checked my junk maill filter to see if I've missed the email.

Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Today, I received an email alert, so that appears to be working now but AIM, still no go.

Is there perhaps a certain time of day or as soon as I launch AIM?

Are you by any chance using a .mac account? We've had reports of people not receiving reminders when using that type of AIM account -- we still need to look into this.
