Hi. I've tried to add my "Atom Feed (All Lists)" (as printed on the Info page to my Google personalized homepage.
Unfortunately, it does not work. When I try to add it, I get an "no feed found at this location" error (error message is translated, I am using the German version of the Google Personalized homepage).
Any hints? Did anyone succeed in putting their lists on their google homepage?
And by the way: Could anyone give me a hint on how authentication works with this? I.e. how does rememberthemilk.com know that I am accessing my lists and how will it prevent other people from accessing my lists via the feed link?
Thanks.
andreas.

To make the feeds work with Google personalized home (or other online readers), you need to do one of the following:
Publish your list (this will allow anyone to see your list), and then use an address like this:
http://www.rememberthemilk.com/atom/username/100123/
Or, keep your list private and use an address like this:
https://username:password@www.rememberthemilk.com/atom/username/100123/
NOTE: This will give Google your Remember The Milk password.
We'll be posting specific instructions for different readers in the help section soon.
Hope this helps!

says:I am trying this in Bloglines, and I typed in:
https://ranbarton:password@www.rememberthemilk.com/atom/ranbarton/
I did use my password for the password, by the way.
And Bloglines said no dice. Am I missing something obvious here, I hope?
Thank you for your help,
Ran

Hmm, Bloglines seems fine with published lists, but not with the authenticated ones. I'll check into it some more and see if it's a problem on our end or theirs.

says:I have been wrestling with authenticated feeds while using Basecamp and a few RSS-to-email solutions. Clearly this is an area where various standards are still making an easy resolution impossible so far. Thanks for your help.

How did you get it to show up on Google, Catchpalani? I have tried every permutation of the example Emily listed and it doesn't find a feed for my https. I don't want to publish my list.

I've also tried every combination to get this to work with Google, and I always get the Not Found error. (I've tried RSS/Atom/private/public).

But it was viewd with past tasks(they are deleted tasks). I want to view only the new tasks.
Please teach me, How can I do

heavymoonj, it may take some time for Google to refresh the tasks -- any deleted/completed tasks should disappear once Google updates. You might need to wait a little while for it to update. If you are still experiencing problems, please email us at [old address removed] with your feed URL. Thanks!
