Problem with file:// in URL and Notes fields

Hi,
I tried to add a link to a local file (file:///D:/home/whatever.html) in the URL as well as in the Notes field. If I save the task, then click on the link, nothing happens, neither for the URL nor for the Notes field.
I verified the link by copying / pasting it into a new browser window. If I use a "real" web address (http://...), everything works fine.
Browser is Firefox 2.0.0.4 on W2K.
Sorry if this has already been asked - I did not find a corresponding answer in the FAQ or in the forum.

Jutta, it looks like this is a security feature in Firefox -- it appears to block links to local files (I tried creating a regular webpage and linking it to a local html page, and it didn't work there either). There may be a way to change this security setting somewhere in Firefox -- you might find some more info on the Mozilla forums. Sorry I can't be of more help!
