I'm not sure I get this: "dueBefore: now"?

And I really can't figure out what's going on, especially with the references to a start *time* and the difference between dueBefore:today and dueBefore:now. Can anyone enlighten me?

Aha. I had absolutely no idea prior to this moment that due dates included time values. That is absolutely amazing.
