Google Calender question

Sadly, this is how the feature works. I put it on my Google Calendar, but since everyday is highlighted, it makes it somewhat impractical.

This is also the reason, why I don't use this feature.
Although it is a very interesting one.
Would be great if there is a way to only highlight the days in gcal where a task has to be done.

We'd love to be able to have different icons depending on whether a day has tasks -- unfortunately due to some technical limitations with Google Calendar this isn't possible just yet, but it's definitely something that we hope to support in the future. Thanks for everyone's feedback on this!
