Any way to DESELECT multiple tasks?

Is there any way to DESELECT multiple selected tasks with a single keypress or click?

This is the only real issue I have with RTM, the whacky selection method whereby tasks remain selected that you'd rather not be selected. Surely there's a way to instantly clear all selections.

Any advice? Thx.

Sure, there's both a link and a keyboard shortcut.

You can use the "Select: None" link (just under the "More Actions"
dropdown at the top of the list), or you can use the shortcut "n" to
deselect all tasks.

The selection works the same as Gmail, in that items remain selected
after actions are performed on them (so it's possible to perform further
actions).

Thanks for that info, Emily.

The main difference between the Gmail method you mention and RTM's method is that in RTM tasks that are selected can suddenly disappear down-the-list when their priorities or due dates are changed, resulting in out-of-sight-out-of-mind problems, such as unintentionally acting on hidden-from-view selected items. Gmail's lists are static, i.e. they don't dynamically rearrange themselves like RTM's.

Thanks a bunch.
