AIM Notification Not Working

I can't seem to get AIM notifications working. I have added rtmremind to my buddy list, but it does not show up as online. Should it? Does it matter that I'm using Trillian? It doesn't seem like it should, but figured I should mention it in case.

Using Trillian won't make a difference.

I already added both the ICQ and the AIM account to my contactlist...
