Postponed counter sometimes not updated

I haven't been able to track down a solid use case, so this bug report is less useful than it could be; I'm sorry.
I've seen an erratic behaviour: sometimes, the "postponed counter" in the task property tab is not updated; postponing tasks via menu or keyboard shortcut doesn't seem to matter.
When trying to find a common patter for this bug, I postponed a task, the counter was incremented correctly, I clicked on the "undo" link, the counter was decremented, I re-postponed the same task and this last time the counter was not updated.
