Making my RTM a desktop icon

The short version, on either platform, is to drag the RTM address from the top of your browser onto your desktop.
The address I use, for what it's worth, is:

On a Mac, you can also/alternatively drag it to your dock (on the right of the divider), where I have it on my Mac - along with Gmail and Gcal, all a click away.
In Windoze, you can do the same with the QuickLaunch toolbar as well, as I have my work machine setup, too.
Both platforms have many launcher helpers, too, but hopefully that's enough to get you started.
