Incompatability between rememberthemilk iPhone app and Google cal app

I have been reading and editing my Google calendar using the iPhone app downloaded from m.google.com. when I installed the Rememberthemilk app a few days ago almost all of my events on my google calendars (I layer business with personal cals) diappeared on the iPhone. when I deleted the app, a few days later the events all show again. Any advice so I can use the app w/o losing calendar events?
