repeat events in iCalendar

RTM folks kindly recommended that putting "every 1 day until Fri 7 Jan 11" in the Repeat field would prompt a recurring event to appear on the iCalendar bars. But the task is showing up over and over and over (forever?!) as an infinitely recurring event. Any idea why it can't read the end date?
