widgets not working on HTC Wildfire

unfortunately after the phone is switched off and turned on again, both widgets (2x2 and 3x3) stop working: they show a blank screen with "No tasks" on it (though there are tasks!) and do not respond to tapping. When reinstalled, they work fine - until the next turn off.

Can you do something about that?

Unfortunately there's a HTC Sense UI issue where widgets don't retain their settings upon reboot; if reinstalling doesn't help, it sounds like this is the issue you're experiencing.

There are more details in here and here… hopefully HTC will get this fixed soon (if they haven't already). I'd recommend making sure that your device OS is up-to-date with any updates.
