How to Export Smart lists

(closed account) says:
I've been looking for way to tasks in a smart list from RTM. I've being trying to do this via the RSS feeds, but as these couldn't be made public, I didn't think it would be possible

However, I recently came across an article on lifehacker that showed you how to export all of your todos from RTM via the iCalendar format. This code worked really well for exporting your entire todo list, but I really wanted the ability to see todo's from specific lists as my overall list is a bit overwhelming!

After a little tweaking of the script, I was able to make it read from any smartlist, and if required, trim down the content of the smart list using tags.

Those with some bash knowledge could probably make the script filter by priority or other criteria that is available via the iCalendar format.

If anyone is able to use or improve on the script, please let me know how it goes! You can download the script from here.

Hope you guys find it useful

Thanks

Alec
