Showing Number OF Tasks Due In Each List.

I love all the recent additions but what I think is really needed is to be able to see exactly how many tasks are sitting inside each task list when on the task page.
It would be very helpful if this number could sit at the end of each list name in brackets, or in a different colour.
In one glance you could see what tasks lie within without having to click on each list which I find frustrating. The task cloud is good for a general feel and of course is means to access tags but I do think such a feature is needed.
This site is by far the best of its kind and I love how it keeps improving. Thanks for providing such an incredible service.

This would be excellent. If there are no tasks you can quickly see and dispense with looking at that tab.

I second this.
Since smart lists made their debut, I keep everything in one list and use many smart lists to slice and dice via tags. I don't care how many tasks are in my big bucket, but having smart lists display a number would be cool.
A step further away from clean design would be two numbers - one for total and the other for overdue, so a tab might look like:
Aardvark (12:5)
I'm sure that would get so cluttered so fast everyone would hate it, but I can see how it would be handy.

Yeah great idea! If the two number concept could be implemented it would bring this service that much closer to perfection :)
