an on-the-go quick check?

My idea goes something like this- I'm at school, I need to quickly check to see if I need to get anything done, so whip out my cell phone and send a text message to a certain number, or I whip out my sidekick and send an email or im to a certain address, one that says
'list all'
or
'list study'
and I get back a message/email that lists what I need to have done.
Think that'd be possible? Tricky? Worth it?

Or, instead of this weird "list"thing, how about just a regular search syntax we are used to. :)
Security is also a concern. Since we don't want to send our passwords over the air, to be intercepted, it seems to me we have two options:
Generate a unique number for every account: difficult.
Allow a user to enter "trusted" numbers from which requests could come: much easier.
This is a great idea! How realistic is it?

Thanks for the suggestion!
We have some features we're looking at that would facilitate this and make Remember The Milk more 'mobile' :)
