Tasks templates

Would it be great if you could define tasks templates?
I mean, you can't use "repeat" option for some tasks, even if you accomplish theme every now and then.

I think an elegant solution should be to add a sort of auto-complete option in the task name form: It'll be also extremely useful in the iPhone app!

I support this idea. For instance it would allow one to constantly improve the list based on experience. Templates for "Going to London" or "Paint the house".

I absolutely agree. I've started using RTM for managing installations at work, and it would be wonderful to have a template detailing all the points that must be hit on a given job.

One thing you can do, that can help, is have an email with a task per line that defines the various steps you do as a group. Then when it is time to add that group to your RTM again, you email it into your bulk import RTM email address, and while you do have to add all of the metadata (dates, tags, etc.), the data entry of the task names themselves is handled for you.

This idea is considered similar to "Share reusable lists with the Remember The Milk community", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
