Reminders: Tasks as Subject/ Notes as Body

lyzdietz says:
I keep smaller lists in my notes/ grocery- things to pack etc. Having these inside my emails would help a bunch.

We may add additional options for the reminders, depending on the requests we get from our users.

Thanks for the suggestion! :)

I second this suggestion. "Remember the Milk" already appears in my email client as the sender. Why repeat it in the subject line?

But if the main text of the reminder was on the Subject line and the notes appeared in the body, that would be perfect. I would be "reminded" without even opening the email message, just by glancing at my client. And I could get more detail quickly and easily.

I'd like the subject of the reminder email to be the main text of the task...

I agree that tasks should be subject of reminder email. Especially given the rise of the ajax start pages that have POP3 modules that list emails with subjects, but not the entire message.

I also would like to see the task in the subject line and the notes in the body! Keep up the great work!

that would be nice, but when there are multiple tasks in the email (as in a daily review email) I think it is fine how it is.

while you are at it, how about including a link in the body that points back to the task in RTM? That would make its easier to go back to the task to complete or postpone it.

This idea is considered similar to "Option to have the task name as the email subject (one task per reminder email)", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
