You are not alone in this, and I think the vast pool of RTM programmers and coders seems to be aware of the request. I keep thinking an "All Tasks" tab, and then using the text search in Firefox on the resulting page.

This idea is considered similar to "Search function", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
