Publish Smart Lists

Is the atom feed that you can do of ANY list (smart or not) not what you are looking for?
On the right side, next to any list, when you get there, there is the list info box, where you can print, or click the i calender link -- have you tried clicking the "Atom" link? That is a link you can give anyone, to follow the list through RSS.
