Complete/Postpone a task via email

ryptide says:
I'd like to be able to mark a task "complete" or postpone it via email.

I'm not entirely sure how easily that would be accomplished, unless it was a reply/response where upon a certain command, the system emailed your task list and and you replied with a task number to complete or postpone, but it's a thought anyway.

Thanks for your suggestion -- we're definitely considering additional methods for interacting with task lists :)

Thanks for the response. I'm loving this service so far, and it has already increased my productivity.

Having a one-click complete/postpone would rock indeed. Doing this in a web interface would be best I think, for example to postpone to a specific date, check task notes etc.

I'm curious if the ability to "complete" tasks via email exists yet?

I know that you are able to do this with twitter, but it would be great to allow the command via email.

I'm making a mashup with zoho creator to use rtm as my reminder service for new tasks added to my application.

I'm be implementing this for a few companies and it's crucial. I'm going to have to use another service like IwantSandy, i'd rather RTM

I also am trying to find this capability. I see no reference to it, though. Is it available?

To everyone that works on RTM: thank you so much for such a wonderful tool. You're doing an amazing job. I just wanted to chime in here and say that I would also love to be able to postpone a task via email by replying to email reminders. I think that would be a great feature. Thanks again.

This idea is considered similar to "Interact with tasks via email", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
