More for Windows Mobile?

Is it too much to ask for something a little more than task sync-ing? I got an AT&T's Tilt Phone.. http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=AT%26T+Tilt(TM)&q_sku=sku1060009

I love the phone, and MilkSync Worked on it, but I recently found out about the iPhone thing and that was a slap in the face. I hate the iPhone and my phone blows that phone out of the water. Is it too much to ask for an actual program that does more than download/upload tasks?

I would like this too. An RTM management application from my mobile device. I would fall in love and never leave :) because integrating with Tasks is cool, but ultimately I am a bit worried about duplication or doing something wrong and confusing MilkSync. On the other hand, I usually have Internet access on my phone, so just managing RTM tasks directly when I'm connected would be a-w-e-s-o-m-e.

Pleeease do this when you can.

Thanks,
Kevin

Me too, I'm sick of Apple users getting all the perks. Windows Mobile FTW!

I'd be up for that!
On a different note, does anyone know of a useful replacement Task application for the default Windows offering?
I've tried a range of them including AgendaOne, Agendus and others but to be honest just want something simple like on my old Palm Tungsten E...

It sucks ass that Apple-boys again get a nice Remember The Milk application. Windows Mobile is a platform that's widespread and around long enough to get it's own RTM application! MilkSync works, but we WM6 users still have to die slow-like with the WM-task manager -_-

Why won't you guys make us some real RTM Program?

I agree with you. I would really love to see the same software working on my WM device as it is working on the iPhone.

Especially that WM app Tasks cant handle the tags,it makes my context GTD process impossible and reduces the value of the RTM online site.

And I will not buy an iPhone just because of that ;-) Rather I would change to a different GTD tool that might come up and supports the WM devices with a proper GTD addon software.

So, please dear RTM, make a software that does the same as on the iphone and allow the handling of tags for WM to keep the GTD process valuable.

Thanks

I just want to add my support for this. I don't have anything against Apple or iPhone as such, I'd love to have an iPhone 3G. But there is only one carrier in Sweden that offers the iPhone 3G and it's not the carrier our company is using...

A real RTM application for Windows would be awesome. Indeed a pity that many great online apps make apps for iPhone, but not for Windows Mobile, that probably many more users have.

I would subscribe to RTM as pro user if they developed a windows mobile version of the iphone app. Definitely a good idea!

I will not be extending my pro account because there is no app for windows mobile. I find that I don't use RMilk as a result of this.

There really are too many limitations to the windows mobile task app. I would think the install base of windows mobile would be larger than the iPhone so why not bring out an app that is equivalent. It is like you are almost there so long as the windows mobile users are tied to their desktops.

2 things. I want to add that I too would love an actual windows mobile application, instead of just a sync tool.

Also, have you guys tried task2gather.com? I personally don't use it because I like the rtm web interface better, but this is another 2.0 solution that has an actual windows mobile app that is "touch focused"

I would like to see a real windows mobile application. The same as the posters above; this decreases the fun of the pro-account for me. Will not extend.

Please add wm6 version app with the same good looking and easy to use interface. The Task in wm6 is bad. That's why I am trying new online to-do list one by one. I have compared and find RTM is good, but why just make app to iphone? WM is a real business user platform. Please give it to us.

I know RTM people are located in Australia. And there only Mac/Iphone are used...
But what's about the people from the other half of the world? We use Windows and Windows Mobile !
Please, think about us. Milk sync is very poor, and we need something like the Iphone app!

Couldn't agree more on a proper window mobile version. The current task screen of wm6 is not user friendly enough and drives me nuts.

A wm version is definitely worth paying for.

Think of all the HTC devices coming out right now. A direct port of the look and functionality of the iPhone app would be perfect on Windows Mobile. I volunteer to be a tester. :) The MilkSync just doesn't make any sense to me. If I liked the way the Task app worked on Windows Mobile, I'd just use Exchange tasks. I use RTM because it works differently and the interface is better, so syncing to the built in taks app is pointless.!

Thinking about Pro account (just got a new HTC HD2 - the iPhone killer as they say), but found out how weak the MilkSync solution is... Can we please have a nice app such as there is one for the Android??

+1

I'm currently looking for an integrated solution that lets me properly deal with lists on the move. Unfortunately milksync doesn't really cut it as I can't then tag things which is pretty important. And I'm stuck with WM for a while.

Something like the Android app for WM would be a killer feature for me.

Count me in. I would really like to see a native WInMo client that you can manipulate while offline and sync when online. Even if paying is necessary, I would love to have that. And please make it available to Smartphone (nontouchscreen) versions.

Your poll concerning platforms is slightly flawed since the HTC HD2, which sold out of Tmo stores hadn't been released yet (3/24). You should see a greater demand now that the devices is out.

I have a WM phone, so right now i can only second the "+1 for better WM app".

But I do understand if you do not wish to spend too many resources on the windows mobile platform, since it is really a dead-end platform. (Well, I at least have had windows phones since 2003 and my next phone is definitely Android powered...) Windows Phone 7 could perhaps change that, but that's probably going to be a year or more before we get WinP -- but we got Android and iPhone right now.

A better long-term strategy would probably be to provide a speedier mobile web-interface on m.rmilk.com - which is currently very slow to use (I have a touch phone so doesn't make sense to "Get around the mobile version quickly by pressing the 0 to 9 keys on your device's keypad".)

I guess using one of your google gadgets as a mobile interface would be quite fine-- but I do not know of a way to launch only a single gadget and not the entire host-site, e.g. http://igoogle.com (which would be too slow...)

Another alternative could be to interface to RTM using a twitter app -- but that seems like a bit of a detour way of doing it, and I don't know of any good/speedy WM twitter apps anyways...

So, for now I think I will be using the regular rmilk.com web-interface and Opera/Skyfire mobile browser. It isn't nowhere near as neat as the Android/iPhone apps, but it is still better than using MilkSync...

Cheers.

I just got the HTC HD2 and I would love a RTM app. I don't want to keep using my cruddy iPhone just for the app :(

Thanks in advance! :D
