More Actions list

I'm a huge Gmail convert and love the similarities of RTM, but RTM also replicates one of Gmail's worst UI elements (IMHO) - the More Actions combo.
First you have to click it. Then potentially you have to locate the mouse over the scroll bar and click it to see the desired option, then click on that option. In fact, to find the option, you have to scan past the ugly '---' separators.
Why just copy Gmail when you can improve on it?
I propose replacing the combo with an element that responds to a mouse-over by presenting a menu of commands. Not a Windows menu but a floating DIV element or some-such where you can present the commands more cleanly. Maybe divide each group of commands into columns instead of using horizontal rules, as it would be easier to locate the item visually.
That would reduce the effort to one mouse movement and one click, and could be made to look good too.
What do you reckon?
