We're sorry that you're experiencing a problem with reminders. Some common problems are:

I'm receiving reminders at the wrong time.
If you are receiving reminders at the wrong time or on the wrong day, your timezone settings may not match. Check to make sure that your timezone on the Settings screen in Remember The Milk matches your system timezone on any computers where you use the site. It's particularly important to check the location of the timezone to make sure that they match as well (to ensure that daylight savings time is observed correctly for your account).

I'm not receiving email reminders.
If you have set email reminders in your account and you aren't receiving emails from Remember The Milk, it's likely that your email provider is treating the reminders as spam. Try checking your junk or spam folder; if the reminder email is there, mark it as "not spam" so that you will receive reminders in the future. You might also like to add remind@rememberthemilk.com to your contacts or whitelist, so that emails from this address are not rejected or marked as spam.

I'm not receiving instant messenger reminders.
Make sure you have Remember The Milk in your buddy list (see the list of buddies for the various instant messenger networks). The buddy may not always appear as 'online' in your buddy list, but you should receive reminders, even when the buddy appears 'offline'. If you have problems receiving instant messenger reminders, it may help to remove the buddy from your list and add it again.

I'm not receiving SMS reminders.
We use email-to-SMS services to send reminders (see the list of supported networks). Some mobile providers require you to activate an email-to-SMS service with them before this will work. If you're using a supported network and not receiving reminders, please contact your provider and ask if you need to activate the email-to-SMS service for your account. If you need to whitelist our reminder email address with your provider, it's remind@rmilk.com for SMS reminders.
