You can subscribe to your iCalendar feed so that Mozilla Sunbird can stay up-to-date with your Remember The Milk tasks. You can choose to either display your tasks in the 'Tasks' section or on the calendar itself.

1. Find the iCalendar feed URL (to show tasks in the 'Tasks' section)

With this option, Sunbird will display your tasks in the 'Tasks' section of the application (they will not appear on the calendar). You can choose to either subscribe to all of your lists or a single list.

Feed for all your lists

  1. Click on 'Settings' at the top of the page.

  3. Copy the iCalendar URL underneath 'iCalendar Service (All Lists)' by right-clicking (or CTRL-clicking) on the link.

Feed for a single list

  1. Switch to the list which has the iCalendar feed you wish to subscribe to.
  2. Make sure you have no tasks selected so that the list details box appears on the right.
  3. Copy the 'iCalendar' URL from the list details box by right-clicking (or CTRL-clicking) on the link.

2. (Alternatively) Find the iCalendar feed URL (to show tasks on the calendar)

With this option you can export your tasks as events. This means that Sunbird will display them on the calendar, rather than in the 'To Do' section of the application. You can choose to either subscribe to all of your lists or a single list.

  1. Switch to the list which has the iCalendar feed you wish to subscribe to.
  2. Make sure you have no tasks selected so that the list details box appears on the right.
  3. Copy the 'iCalendar (Events)' URL from the list details box by right-clicking (or CTRL-clicking) on the link.

3. Subscribe to the URL in Sunbird

  1. Click on 'File' menu.
  2. Click on 'Subscribe to Remote Calendar...'.

  3. Select 'Remote'.
  4. Press 'Next'.

  5. Paste the iCalendar URL into the 'Location' box by right-clicking (or CTRL-clicking) on the box.

  6. Press 'Next'.
  7. Give your calendar a name and choose a color.
  8. Press 'Next'.

  9. Enter your Remember The Milk username and password when prompted.
  10. Press 'OK'.

  12. You should now see your tasks listed in the 'Tasks' section or displayed on the calendar in Sunbird, depending on the iCalendar feed URL you used.
