How do I create a Smart List?

There are two options to adding a new Smart List.

To create a Smart List through searching:

  1. First perform a search to set the criteria that you want your Smart List to be based on. For example, you might search for tasks with high priority or tasks tagged with 'mall'.
  2. In the Search Results list, make sure you have no tasks selected so that the Save as Smart List button appears on the right.
  3. Click on Save as Smart List.
  4. Enter a name for your Smart List.
  5. Click on Save.
  6. Your criteria will now be saved as a Smart List. When you go to that Smart List, any tasks that match the criteria you searched for will be displayed.

Alternatively, you can add a new Smart List outright:

  1. Click on the + icon next to the Smart Lists header in the left navigation column.
  2. Enter the list name in the text box provided.
  3. Enter your Smart List criteria in the boxes provided.
  4. Click Add.
