Remember The Milk lists a username as 'not available' for one of two reasons:

1. The username is already in use.
2. The username was in use, but the account has been cancelled or become dormant.

To protect our users' privacy, we can't reveal any details about why a username is unavailable, nor can we restore or release usernames that belonged to accounts that have been cancelled or become dormant.
