As a single guy, my disorganization in the kitchen is legendary and I have tossed $1,000s worth of food in the past...not anymore.

Nice. Now someone needs to design an app that will let you scan the barcode with your phone camera and add it to RTM automagically. Plus read the expiry date with some kind of optical text recognition!!

Could you please expand on your post. How do you set expiration dates for your list items, just as a due date or some other way? Also do you mark the items as completed or not?
