Losing weight

I'm trying to drop a few pounds for an upcoming vacation. I'm using a calorie-counting app to track my progress, but it's lacking a long-term view. In order to keep focused I setup tasks that occur every 2 weeks to remind me of where I should be against my goal. This week's task says, "Weight tracking goal = 195", then two weeks from now it says "Weight tracking goal = 193" (trying to lose a pound every week), etc. I've setup the tasks to occur on Monday morning -- wake up and face the music. The iPhone push notifications help to keep me honest.
