Not in the web app currently, sorry (although other interfaces such as RTM for Twitter and RTM for Gmail do support this with due dates and tags).

@RTM Here I go again...

Pardon what must seem repetitive, but when I see the same good ideas surfacing over and over, I am compelled to note the fact.

The idea of parsing the text in the data entry field, and in inbound emails, has been around since RTM was wet behind the ears, and I have watched the idea resurface over and over. Heck, much of this can already be done with RTM using the Firefox extension in Gmail.

Just a wish... (the smiley was meant to signify that).

However, I don't understand why this feature, already existing in the Gmail and Twitter interfaces, is so hard to implement in the web interface. But then, I'm not a web app developer...

Regarding Emily's first response... So how do you specifiy tags and due dates via twitter? I see no reference to this anywhere on this site.

I really like the iGoogle RTM gadget. It's so easy to add due date & tags to your task using that gadget!

I'd like this feature, too. Having to go back after the fact an enter tags is so clunky.
