Times before and after?

Anyone have a suggestion on how to represent tasks that have to be done before a certain time or after a certain time?
Eg, "Pick up the milk any time after 3:00pm"
This seems like it should be very easy, but I can't figure out how to make it work.
(As a tack on...is there any way to enter a task and a due date in one click or does it require a task subject and then editing the due date?)

Well, due after 3pm isn't a definite time, while due before 3pm is.
I would personally use your example as a block of time in my 30boxes calendar, rather than an rtm task.
If it's due by 3pm, set 3pm as the due date/time. No worries there.
I'm not sure if there's a combined task entry format...

Yeah, my real worry is if someone says, "Sure, pick this up between 3 and 5."
I can't figure out a way to represent this.

Many to-do lists handle this with a start time and due time, but unfortunately RTM doesn't do start times.
When I have a certain block of time to do something, I see it as a calendar event rather than a to-do item. So, I'd use Google Calendar or 30boxes for that.

thmcnutt: I would use the method I've already described too many times in various threads:
1 Add a tag z2h to this task and make it due 17:00/5 pm.
2 Create a smart list, name it to zzz or whatever.
3 Include a NOT list:zzz to your normal smart lists
This way this task won't show up until 15:00/3 pm.
The smart list in 2 should be (you can use as many zNX tags as you like):
list:Someday OR
(tag:zzz AND dueAfter:now) OR
(tag:z1h AND dueAfter:"1 hour of now") OR
(tag:z2h AND dueAfter:"2 hours of now") OR
(tag:z1d AND dueAfter:"1 day of now") OR
(tag:z1w AND dueAfter:"1 week of now") OR
(tag:z1m AND dueAfter:"1 month of now")
I just discovered the hour part of this, great if you have deadlines using hh:mm and not only dates.
