I'm on Vodafone Italy : no support for mail to sms from external email (please modify the carrier list, it's wrong), so no direct reminders from RTM.
Twitter doesn't support my network, so no reminders via Twitter.
Last Chance: Gcalendar.
I've already created an "all task" Icalendar list with events and linked it in my Gcal.
Unfurtunately Gcalendar syncs at best every 3 hour and sometimes I update task with a shorter time "live".
Plus there is no way to have a decent daily task reminders.
Does anyone have solved a similar situation?
Suggestions?
Someone knows a "email to sms" service?
Or an online calendar with ical and sms reminder with a better synch than Gcal?

@Barnesms: thank you but that's incomplete. numer@sms.vodafone.it accept only 10 email a day from an email adress linked to a Vodafone Italy costumer registered account. So it doesn't work with RTM email to sms feature, I've already checked (Emily please, correct the drop down menu).

I'm on Vodafone Netherlands.
Couldn't find a workaround from inside RTM either, so I set up an "sms reminder" calendar in Gcalendar and enter any tasks for which I want an sms reminder directly into that. This works well, but having this functionality in RTM would be much nicer!
