With Bubbles (http://www.3d3r.com/bubbles/) you can create a "desktop application" from any URL.
That means that you have a tray icon for quick access, and the "application" is always accessible, no matter if your browser is running.

Another option for mac users is fluid - it's like prism but based on the safari browser instead of firefox. I just installed a few days ago (using it to make this post) and so far it's been great for both RTM and Gmail.

tommando is right. Just open it in Google Chrome. It asks you to work with Google Gears, makes an application and a desktop icon. You can make an application out of any website with Chrome. Plus Chrome is wicked fast.

says:Be careful, if you are using the beta version of chrome with Google Gears it could give problems. See this blog of RTM.

Hi,
Just set RTM url you want as main page as your wallpaper (Properties>Desktop>Customise Desktop>Web)
It will always be open, no need for an app or browser ;-)
I stretch the window the url is in to the top and bottom of my screen, then go back into setup above and select "Lock desktop item" so it doesnt move, with accidental mouse usage.
see what i mean, heres an image: http://www.supermankelly.com/desktop2.jpg
