Although the Google Gadget is available for your iGoogle page, you can create a flash version with more controls using Dapper (http://www.dapper.net). You add the RSS feed for the list you want to publish to Dapper and then you create a Dapper app from the feed - you can choose from all sorts of formats including Google Widget and a flash based app that you can embed in any site!!
