Maintaining Relationships
Much of what I do is empowered by maintaining relationships in a ministry setting. I use Remember the Milk to help me with this important priority.
I maintain a static list entitled "People". I have a Task with a person's name such as "Paul Smith" with a start date but no due date. I enter contact information such as phone numbers, address, Facebook page, website address in the notes area. I normally have a different note for each piece of information. I do this as it is easier to tap (for example to call the person) the information if I am using the mobile app.
I then use tags such as "Hospital", "Nursing home", "Cancer Patient" etc as a way of identifying life needs or events.
I enter subtasks under each person's "task" . These subtasks can be entitled "visits" or "Facebook posts" etc. I then can add notes or "sub--sub" tasks accordingly.
