RTM has a wonderful variety of ways to be notified.

I have set the notifications at a variety of times.

I recieve

a text message 1 hour ahead of time.
a daily reminder of all tasks
also i receive emails and reminders at the time a task is due

this variety helps me to not miss a an important task.
