Monitoring the number of sales calls to be made - Required functionality for goal tracking.

My Problem.

I work for myself and one particular thing I would like to monitor is the number of new business sales calls I make.

I would like to know on a weekly basis

Whether or not I am making those calls, and how many.
The outcome of those calls.
For instance, I could try to call a company and may not be able to get through to anybody, or I may be given the persons details, or I could actually get through.

So it would be nice to monitor the activity and the outcome.

It does not matter what day of the week I make the calls, I just need to know that for a given week the number of calls I am making.

If I can not monitor the outcome then I guess I could set different goals as follows?

Call companies and get details.
Call companies no contact available
Call companies spoke to person


If I can monitor this then I can adjust the functionality to all sorts of uses, such as number of sales, number of quotes and so on.

Can you please let me know if RTM software will let me achieve this.

If it does not and you know of another solution I would be very grateful.

You can track your completed tasks. You may wish to use tags to track these different statuses since those can be a bit more flexible.

Then, you could search your tasks for the past week like so:

completedWithin:"1 week of today" AND list:Work AND tag:spoke
