Similarly to locations, I use contexts in RMT to keep track of what to do when I'm in different locations or doing different things. I use the tags @home, @laptop, @lunch (to do during my lunch break), and @outabout (out and about, such as on the way home from work). I've got smart lists for tasks due today in each of those contexts. So when I'm on my lunch break I just check that list to see that I need to go to the post office, or when I sit down on the couch with my laptop I know I need to submit some health plan receipts. Little things like that which would otherwise get lost in a long list of random errands. It's a system that's been working well for me for a few years now.
