Avoid impulse shopping

miquelmartin says:
Whenever I get all enthusiastic about buying something, I find it helps to keep my fingers off it, and make a task such as "Consider buying this" due the next day. If I'm still interested then, I can make a far better case for buying it!

Hi miquelmartin,

Great tip! I just wanted to let you know that you're this week's Tips & Tricks Tuesday winner. We've upgraded your RTM account to have a free year of Pro. :)

1 day? Try 30 days as famous blogger/minimalist Leo Babauta suggests:

Hey thanks a lot!
Let's see... "Consider renewing RTM subscription"... done! :)
Seriously, that was one that didn't need much considering. Thanks a lot for your kind comments, Emily, and thanks to the whole RTM team for the great service!

action.manager: yeah, 30 days may be better, but I do want to buy stuff rather sooner than later if I decide for it! Also, thanks for the links!

I have a separate '30-days-list' list.
when adding an item using smartadd:

Buy big expensive wannahave #30-days-list ^30 days from now

And be reminded and see if you still deem in necessary.
