Default priority

esther.tseng Pro says:

Is there any way to set a default priority for new tasks? Currently it seems like the default priority is None. Could I change this so that the default priority whenever I enter a new task is automatically set to 2?

Short answer: no.

Longer answer: if you create a smart list that searches for tasks with a P@, then any task you add while viewing that list will also have be P2. Not ideal, but it will save you typing !2 if that's useful for you.

If you look at a search for priority:2 or a list with such a criteria, new tasks will automatically inherit that property. (You'll want to make sure that the smart list search is unambigious.)
