I just downloaded remember the milk for the iPhone 3Gs today and am experiencing the same problem.

I am running the pro version, and was about to report this bug, when I saw your post. I also have the exact same problem, cannot edit a note once it is saved, only add more notes. The Web app of course works as expected.

I assume it's an app incompability with the recent iPhone 3.1-update (worked fine with 3.0)

Unfortunately this is a bug introduced by iPhone OS 3.1 -- I've now posted about it on our status blog. We're working on a workaround to resolve this; I'm sorry for any inconvenience in the meantime. :(

Thanks for working on this. I've been creating new correction/update notes, but it will be nice to be able to edit again.

Glad -- sort of -- to know it isn't just me. Hope this gets fixed soon, as I'd gotten pretty used to being able to use the notes function. Thanks.

In the meantime, you can either copy the text to a new note or edit the note on the iPhone web app.

We're currently awaiting Apple's approval for our update that resolves this issue -- so hopefully this should be available soon.

The latest OS update (v3.1.2) has made this issue even worse! Now you can't even *add* a note, let alone edit an existing one.

Hopefully the fix mentioned above will address this ;-).

Not happening here and my iPhone is updated to 3.1.2. Can't edit notes yet but I can add them

@ gui.azurdia - Yes, you're quite right - I've just tried it again and I'm getting the same behaviour you describe.

(Actually when I first tried, I was getting all sorts of weirdness. Distorted keyboards that I couldn't type on. Must have been something temporary!?!)

Just noticed this bug today. Not contributing anything here but just to stress another pro customer is needing this problem fixed.

It may be my app only, but this morning I noticed that I am able to edit notes as usual.

I'm sorry we didn't post back here with an update, but if you've updated the app to 1.2.0, this issue is resolved. This was mentioned on the day Apple released the update on the blog and in the release notes.
