Is a pro account needed to synch to an iPhone via app or web methods???

That is no way to incorporate your iPhone in the mix (beyond a trial period) without the paid pro account?

Yes, a Pro account is required for either the app edition or web edition for iPhone/iPod touch.

There are also free options for the iPhone -- the mobile version or the main web app will both work with the Safari browser on an iPhone/iPod touch.
