Badge not updating at midnight

My badge on my iPhone app doesn't update at midnight when I have a task due that day. Or at all actually until I open the app and close it again.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Just checked and the badge isn't updating at all. IF I complete a task on the web I have to open my iPhone app and sync to clear it.
