I usually tag tasks right after I create them. And sometimes I forget to tag, and things get cluttered some way, and I miss some tasks.
It would be really fast (and I believe for most of the other users) if I could tag tasks on the fly. My suggestion maybe a power user feature but I really believe it would make things easier.
It can be doable by a tricky string manupulation. Like you can end task name with | (pipe char), or : (double colon ) or w/ = (equal) sign. ie.
Taskname: # Don't forget to drink milk today|healt mummy "daily tasks"
or
# Take the dog out=dog "boring things"
etc.

I second this wonderful suggestion...
Additionally, following up on my previous suggestion of templates --> it would be cool to achieve the following:
1] If you are in a smart list, and you create a task, its automatically filled with the conditions of the smart list e.g. the tags being searched in the smart list
2] If you select a particular task and enter a short cut key ..you can create a todo based on that task's settings incld tags. Similiar to the above, one can select a task containing the tags "great_idea" and have it applied automatically to the new task.
