MEMOS&LISTS or stand-alone NOTES

It's great that you are drilling down to hone up the TASKS capabilities of RTM, and you have done a fantastic job, but in addition to TASKS, there is a second major way for us humans to either remember or forget the milk: we all handle hundreds of little snippets of info that have nothing to do with time-dependent tasks but are static (not task-oriented) - like post-it note reminders. I know there are plenty of programs for it, but RTM would do a great job, given its magic touch.
It would enhance RTM exponentially if its capability were extended sideways by adding a MEMOS&LISTS capability, allowing to post little reminders, notes, lists that have nothing to do with doing a task by a given date. Having it all in one place would be extremely useful. I know that there are other programs for it, but it does not really help someone who in short time became hooked up onto RTM - it needs to be all integrated.

Good idea. It would be handy if you had the option of attaching these notes to extant tasks, in the manner of a 'post it' note. Also I would like the ability to set up a note as a 'thought for the day', on the RTM front- page, so I saw it every time I entered RTM.

This idea is considered similar to "Place to jot down random notes", and all votes have been transferred to that idea.
