Hi, I love the smart add stuff, but I have a simple request: why can't I use the smart add shortcuts as keyboard shortcuts (i.e., make '#' a synonym for 's', make '^' a synonym for 'd', etc.)? Having to remember two sets of shortcuts is an unnecessary burden.

I'm not saying you should get rid of the old shortcuts, since for many people they are committed to muscle memory; just add synonyms. This would really cut down the learning curve for newer users!!
